Barber Armour is a hair-resistant barber suit for barbers, hairdressers and dog groomers. This two-piece barber uniform is designed to wear over your everyday clothes while cutting hair. The matching jacket and trousers help reduce loose clippings reaching the layers underneath. Put it on at work, take it off after your shift and leave the hair with your workwear.

Hair brushes straight off. Smooth, lightweight fabric gives cut hair little to cling to.
Closed where hair gets in. Adjustable Velcro collar, cuffed wrists and cuffed ankles.
Sleeves that stay out of your way. Cut short by design to finish above the wrist. No rolling up between clients.

Fit & size

Relaxed unisex fit in Medium, Large and Extra Large. The cut is relaxed, but sizing can differ from your everyday clothes, so we recommend choosing one size up from your usual size.

Shorter in height and slim-built? Your usual size may suit.
Different size top and bottom? Buy the jacket and trousers separately and mix sizes.

Fabric & care

100% polyester with a smooth, lightweight finish. Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle. Air dry. Do not tumble dry. Cool iron if needed. Avoid fabric softener, which can affect the hair-resistant finish.

No garment stops every strand. Barber Armour is built to cut down the hair that reaches you and the clothes underneath.

Made by a barber

Barber Armour was designed by barber and educator Georgia Herbert after more than a decade behind the chair. It started with the question every barber asks at the end of a shift: why am I still wearing everyone's haircut?

Workwear That Works As Well As You Do.

Every detail on Barber Armour earns its place. The Velcro collar, cuffed wrists and ankles, and full-length zip weren’t added for looks — they were developed by working through actual shifts behind the chair, figuring out exactly where loose hair gets in.

The relaxed unisex fit is deliberate too: room to move through a full day of fades and trims, loose enough to wear over your own clothes if you want an extra layer between you and the floor.

Absolutely brilliant! It does exactly what I needed & keeps my clothes underneath covered, so I’m not left covered in hair after my working day, It’s comfortable, practical, smooth & allows me to hit the rub-a-dub after work looking fresh & not decorated in hair 😁 highly recommend!

Less hair on my clothes, less hassle after work

Barber Armour by Proper ProWear has made finishing work so much easier. The hair-resistant fabric helps keep clippings off my clothes underneath, and the cuffs and collar are useful details when you’re cutting all day.

The separate top and trousers make it practical, and it looks smart in the shop. My favourite part is taking it off after my last client and being ready to head out without changing my whole outfit. A thoughtful bit of workwear for barbers who are fed up with taking hair home.

Loving my new work clothes. easy to wear, lightweight and smooth for the hair to slide off. Even better I don’t have to wear and ruin my own clothes! The sleeves are designed to be shorter so they don’t get in the way of you doing your job. Highly recommend.

Great gear. I wear a large top half and a xl bottom half and I like to fold the ankle cuffs. Keeps you hair free. I dont normally wear long sleeve when trimming but these are cuffed by the wrists so I get to pull them up knowing no hair will go up my sleeve! I rate the brand 👍🏽

Really impressed with the Barber Armour. The shorter sleeves don’t get in the way while cutting, and the hair-resistant material means I finish the day feeling much cleaner by stopping hairs getting on my clothes. It looks smart, feels lightweight and is really practical for a busy day behind the chair. Definitely recommend!

Really rate this. Super lightweight, comfy and easy to move around in. The shorter sleeves are ingenious, they stay out of the way whilst I work and stop hair getting where it shouldn’t. The material is practical and looks great on. Like a second skin. Highly recommend.
